Ruthenian Greek Orthodox Church of Alvena SK was here from 1901 to 1921 including the marriage of my own greatgrandparents Woloshyn and Mylymok. The church now standing was built in 1923. There is an old and a newer graveyard south of the church. The church is 5 km northwest of Alvena on farmers land. Series of videos filming every tombstone in a particular graveyard and cemetery of an old church in Central Ukranian Saskatchewan.
